Westwood, New Jersey

Calista F.'s artwork arrived at its first stop in the postal journey at Auntie Victoria's house in New Jersey. On Election Day 2011, after voting, Victoria went to the next town of Westwood, NJ, to stand next to the 9/11 memorial. Westwood is about 25 miles from Manhattan. September 11, 2001 will always be a tragic and personally heart-wrenching day that will never be forgotten. More than 700 people from New Jersey alone perished on that day, including from these surrounding communities of Bergen County, such as Westwood. We also remember many heroic acts and expressions of patriotism. Calista's art is about peace. Ask yourself everyday, what small or great act of kindness can you do? No kind deeds are too small to help bring about true peace, even if it's just a smile. Thank you for including me, and I will now forward Calista's art to Georgia. Shalom!
